The holidays are upon us, and the timing is perfect because exciting things are happening here at A Peach of a Party. After just two years in our little hole-in-the-wall on Oak Street, we are bursting at the seams. Clearly, we underestimated our space needs when we built our gourmet market the size of a postage stamp, so now we are thrilled to announce the expansion of our store, taking over the suite next door and tripling the size of our retail area. We’re now able to offer more frozen and refrigerated options, including grab & go sandwiches, soups and side dishes, as well as more variety in local and craft gourmet foods, gifts and cocktail supplies. We even have shopping carts now - no more hypothermic fingers as you hold on to those casseroles!
Along with our larger store, we also have a flex space that we plan to use for special occasions, such as happy hour events, cooking demos, candle-making and cocktail classes. We’ll also have our vendors sampling their goods onsite occasionally.
Be sure to keep an eye out for our Thanksgiving and holiday menus coming out soon. While we can’t cook the turkey for you, we do carry an amazing brine that will ensure you have the juiciest, most flavorful bird on the block. And we can help you save time in the kitchen with our tried-and-true side dishes and desserts. Once you hide the packaging evidence, no one needs to know you didn’t make it yourself. Plus, we have those busy nights leading up to the holidays covered too. There’s nothing like the relief of popping a casserole in the oven after a busy day - you can even cross a few names off your gift list while you pick up dinner.
