Coffee Collection

It’s not where you’ve bean, but where you’re going next

There is no shortage of coffee places in Reno--that's for sure. In addition to some standouts below, consider: Coffee & Comics, Superstitions Coffee, Café Con Papi, Walden’s Coffeehouse, Homage, Purple Bean, and JoStella Coffee Company.

No City Coffee

Meet the Cortado, a traditional drink that shows off both the quality of the espresso and the skill of the barista. Made from espresso and equal parts warm, steamed milk, the Cortado is a simple yet elegant classic. All beans used at No City are locally roasted personally by Ryan Stark and are rated AAA specialty coffee from India with low acidity for easy (and tasty) consumption. Plus, you can order it with organic house-made almond milk.

Old World Coffee Lab

This winter season, Old World is featuring a creamy and cozy Peppermint Bark Latte, with a white mocha and peppermint brown sugar base. There's also the Nutcracker Latte, sweet and spiced with an almond and anise brown sugar syrup topped with sea salt and truly the epitome of holiday cheer (if you’re not over the holidays quite yet).

Rising for People Coffee Company

Rising with purpose, for people starts with a good cup of coffee. That’s what Rising For People Coffee is all about. Their signature Coffee Flights are a treat, completely customizable and extremely photogenic. Each drink on the flight is handcrafted using single-origin coffee beans and from seasonal inspiration.

Bibo Coffee Co. / Bibo Freddo Gelato

Bibo’s House-Roasted Arsi is a naturally processed coffee from Ethiopia with notes of juice red grape and ripe stone fruit with a bright citrus backbone available in all three Reno locations, and online. At Bibo, you can also enjoy hand-made artisan gelato.

Coffeebar

A Gibraltar is served at lower temperature in a Gibraltar glass, and is equal parts streamed milk and espresso. It’s meant for coffee drinkers who don’t want too much milk covering the espresso flavor. Order one made from their signature Zephyr espresso blend with notes of chocolate and cherry.

The Garden

The Garden is both a full-service florist AND locally-roasted coffee shop. While there are many coffee confections to choose from, the floral-inspired Rose Latte is iconic to The Garden with mild rose flavor and a hint of smokiness.

EP Listening Lounge

The Light & Lavender is a cup of coffee as cool as where it’s served. This drink can be made hot or iced, using a light roast, oat milk, and a house-made honey lavender syrup. EP specializes in pour-over coffee with six different types of cold brew on draft, not to mention the hundreds of records (from @180GramRecords) to browse/buy.

The Hub Coffee

At The Hub, coffee is sourced from seed to cup, and their classic Cappuccino exemplifies this process. The coffee used in the Hub’s Thirty-2-Cheney espresso blend comes from the farm Finca Las Nubes in Columbia, one of the Hub’s partner farms.
