Ameri-CANZ co-owner Jlyne Hanback says she wanted to start a community-oriented business from Frisco that would allow her and her husband, US Army veteran Noel Hanback, to spend more time with her elderly grandmother, of whom Jlyne is the caregiver.
"We donate to our community where possible, may it be giving out free cotton candy at a neighborhood block party or donating a year of free trash can cleaning service to a local school PTA for their silent auction," shares Jlyne.
She says their environmentally conscious cleaning process recaptures more than 90% of the water they use, which is then recycled through a 17-step filtration system and disposed of in a designated location, "not" the local water supply or the street drains.
Noel notes that as a proud, veteran-owned and operated business, they cheerfully offer a military discount to active military service members, as well as military service veterans. "We also offer discounts to HOAs, neighborhood associations and other entities," he adds.
Frisco asked the Hanbacks about this new approach and service.

"Yes, we serve both clients for residential trash bins as well as commercial dumpsters/pads."

"After scheduling with us, we arrive the day after customers’ trash days. Upon arrival, we initiate our washing system engine to run a cleaning cycle, cleaning and sanitizing the trash cans at over 212°F; capturing all of the dirt water and leaving no mess behind. Finally, we place the clean and fresh-smelling trash receptacles back to curbside or to the customer's preferred location. Each customer is provided with "before" and "after" photos so they can fully see and appreciate the difference."
WHAT CITIES OR GEOGRAPHIC REGION DO YOUR SERVICES COVER?
"We travel up to a 45-minute radius from Frisco. Prospective customers can see if their address is within our service simply by entering their address on our website."
HOW DID YOU ORIGINALLY BELIEVE THIS BUSINESS CONCEPT WOULD BE RECEIVED?
"We anticipated our service would be embraced due to its dual benefits of maintaining cleanliness and preventing issues like rodent infestations, the spread of illnesses like the flu, and other hygiene-related concerns. By offering regular trash can cleaning, we aimed to contribute to a healthier and safer environment for customers."
AND WHAT HAS BEEN THE RESPONSE?
"The community's response has been overwhelmingly positive. Customers have expressed an appreciation for the peace of mind that comes with having their trash cans professionally cleaned on a regular basis. Overall, the support received from the community has validated our belief in the necessity and value of our services."
For any new customer signing up for the monthly service option that uses another customer's name as a referrer, upon subscription, existing customers receive one free cleaning, up to two bins, Noel and Jlyne state.
