As a family medicine doctor, Dr. Neeraja Chandrasekaran enjoys the ability to treat a large range of medical issues and during her years of medical practice, she has developed a passion specifically for helping women. “I've always loved women's health care and one way I feel I helped women a lot, aside from OBGYN rotations, was doing aesthetic medicine,” shares Dr. Chandrasekaran. “Being able to help women and see them grow in their confidence is invaluable and so rewarding for me.”
In 2023, Dr. Chandrasekaran opened Luna Medical Spa, a practice that focuses on a holistic approach to wellness and offers a wide variety of medical-grade procedures and programs to patients. “On a couple of my dermatology rotations during residency, I got to do things like Botox and observe fillers and IV treatments,” she shares. “I felt myself gravitating towards that type of medicine because I appreciate how hands-on the treatments are and how happy and joyful everyone is in that field. It motivated me to open this practice.”
At Luna Medical Spa, patients have access to customized aesthetic treatments including medical grade facials, Hydrafacials, Botox injections, Dermaplaning, micro and nano needling, laser hair removal, and more. “I am Obesity Medicine Board Certified, so we offer a medical weight loss program,” she explains. “We also offer IV therapies such as Myers Cocktail and Nad+ mixtures, sexual health treatments for men and women, shockwave treatments for arthritis-related pain, and some sports medicine procedures.”
