Betsy and Gigi have only known each other for close to a year and a half. But you’d never know that just by talking to them. The two of them finish each other’s sentences like they’ve been the best of friends for 20 years. Betsy recalled that they were both already working at Benchmark Realty and preparing their marketing plans for the next year. “That’s when I met Gigi, and it was
just fate,” she said.
Similarly, both Betsy and Gigi had influences from their fathers that led them to careers in real estate. Betsy’s first inspiration was from researching titles for her father’s title company. After retail work for several years in different cities including owning her own store in Martin, Tennessee, she was invited by a friend to become a real estate agent, and the rest is history. Gigi’s father was a builder and realtor, and she had a love of houses from the beginning. She knew real estate was something she wanted to do after her children were grown. “I jumped in and haven’t looked back. I love it,” she says.
Betsy and Gigi pride themselves on being both personal and professional. They have a special way of getting to know their clients and becoming a part of their lives while still handling all the aspects of a real estate transaction professionally and with extreme attention to detail. According to Gigi, “We just like people. We cross all price structures. Everyone deserves the same attention, the same service, and the same results.” That’s why Betsy says a high number of her clients are repeat customers. And the best part is that they’re just plain fun. Laughter comes easy when they’re together.
They cherish their relationships with their clients and with each other. “We really enjoy being together and talking things through,” says Betsy. They each provide someone for the other to lean on when things get hectic. “It puts my mind at ease just knowing that, should something arise, I’ve got somebody who’s got my back and who’s going to help carry the load 'til I can carry it myself again,” says Gigi.
