This Year, Radiate Light

Shine Brightly Founder Kendall Koste is helping thousands of Lowcountry women live their potential.

Kendall Koste doesn’t shy away from setting big goals: “This next part of my life is helping women lead lives they really, really want, even if they don’t know what that looks like yet.” The certified life coach and motivational speaker is the founder of Shine Brightly, and she plans on helping 2,500 women create vision boards in 2024.

“Statistics show that 20 percent of those women will use their vision boards to change their lives, so I’m excited and honored to be part of helping 500 women change their lives. It’s a big goal, and I approach my work with a service heart,” she says.

Although the majority of Kendall’s client base is women, she often works with couples and corporate teams, reiterating she will “help anybody to shine brightly.”

Kendall emphasizes that there is no right or wrong way to do a vision board. “I personally use my vision board for about a year and encourage my clients to do the same. Part of that is because I want people to put things on their boards that they feel they can accomplish. It makes their goals and priorities actionable.”

In her workshops, Kendall guides women with three prompts:

What do you want to have?

What do you want to do?

How do you want to feel every day?

These three questions get to the intangible (I want to have self-confidence, I want to be compassionate) and tangible (I want to have a healthier lifestyle, I want to volunteer each week.) The images, colors, quotes, and other things women put on their vision boards are their interpretation of how the answers to those questions will manifest in their own lives.

To extend the impact of her work, Kendall is creating digital and virtual platforms for Shine Brightly customers. In the meantime, to learn more or to schedule a vision board workshop, reach out to Kendall via email at Kendall@shinebrightly.me or follow her @shinebrightly.me.
