Upon getting her first job as a lash stylist, Jamie Lynn Bear realized just how well the career path aligned with her personality. As someone who is meticulous, detail-oriented, and loves getting to know people, doing lashes provides her with the stimulation she needs.
“I got really good really quickly and built up a solid, reliable clientele,” says Bear. “I was booked out three months ahead of time, especially around Christmas, doing twelve to fourteen clients a day. Today, about 70% of my clients are booked out for the year and I have seen them every other week for the past six years.”
Bear has dedicated her adult career to earning the title of Master Stylist, accumulating over 11,000 hours of experience while educating others. Since branching out to offer independent services, many of her clients have followed her to R3 CryoSpa.
“I have a lot of older clients who tell me that it’s been life-changing for them because I give them their face back,” says Bear. “Lashes are the one thing that allows them to look in the mirror and think, ‘Oh, wow, I don’t need as much makeup. I truly feel great.’”
