About Us

At CDA, we create positive change - every day. We are a community-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families and child care providers across Southern California. For decades, we have helped parents access affordable, quality child care so they can work, pursue education, and build stable futures for their families. We believe parents know what’s best for their children, which is why our programs allow families to choose the child care that best fits their needs. We also partner closely with child care providers, offering resources and support that help them strengthen their programs and serve children in healthy, nurturing environments. As the largest sponsor of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program in California, CDA helps providers offer nutritious meals that support children’s growth and development.
