MarineMax Rogers sits on County Road 81, about 20 miles northwest of Minneapolis and a short drive up from Maple Grove. Its sister store, MarineMax Excelsior, is right on Lake Minnetonka. Together they have been selling and servicing boats in Minnesota for more than 15 years. General Manager TJ Ortmann knows the Rogers store from the ground up. He started there in 2008 as an offsite sales team lead, sold boats in Branson, Missouri, came back to Rogers in 2020, and worked as sales manager and fixed operations manager before taking over both stores in July 2025. The lineup runs from pontoons to yachts: Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Nautique, Harris and Premier pontoons, Aquila, and Azimut, Galeon, Cruisers and Ocean Alexander yachts. Owning the boat is where the Rogers store earns its keep. It has a five-bay service shop with factory-certified technicians, an on-site canvas shop, a parts department stocked with OEM parts and accessories, and mobile service that comes to the boat. New boats are delivered fully fueled, with lines aboard and Coast Guard safety equipment provided. Owners stay busy off the water too, with seasonal seminars on boating, fishing, watersports and navigation, Women on Water classes, Docktail Parties and MarineMax Getaways trips.
