Dear Readers,
We often imagine love at its most cinematic: perfect lighting, grand gestures, and carefully curated beauty. But the most powerful thing about a wedding isn’t the dress, the flowers, or even the venue. It’s the intention to pause, to gather, and to choose one another out loud.
That same intention carries far beyond a single day. Love shows up in celebrations and in grief, in beginnings and in goodbyes. In each moment, it asks the same thing of us: How do we show up with care? The answer doesn’t require perfection, only presence.
In a world that moves quickly, intention becomes an act of devotion. It’s choosing meaning over excess, experience over expectation. When couples plan a wedding rooted in intention, they are practicing something that will serve them long after the day ends: the ability to slow down, to prioritize what matters, and to honor the people they love.
Because love, at its heart, isn’t a single event. It’s the way we choose to mark the moments that matter most. It’s found in the pauses between milestones, in the quiet promises we keep, and in the spaces we create for others to feel seen, celebrated, and at home.
Running The Foundry has taught me that love with intention can be quiet and steady. It can live in the details, in the work behind the scenes, and in the pride that comes from watching a space slowly become what you hoped it could be. I’ve found a deep sense of purpose in caring for this place and in creating an environment where people feel supported and welcomed. Free to weave their own stories into it.
However, what has surprised me the most is the love that has come back through community. Through the couples who trust this space with their milestones. Through the vendors and teams who care as deeply as I do. Through the moments I get to witness that remind me why this work matters.
And for all this, I am truly grateful! For you, the one reading this, and for everyone who has been a part of our very own love story in building something meaningful at The Foundry. Thank you for showing up with care, thank you for being here, and thank you for loving with intention. You're making the world a better place.
Love,
