Toffee Chocolate Covered Strawberries

What I love about toffee is its ability to elevate. It can take something you've eaten many times and make it feel brand new. You get to love it all over again!

My toffee has love right there in the name. My husband is Smitty, and when I turned my love for toffee into a business, I knew I wanted to name it after him. When you pair some of my Smitty Sweets toffee with a classic chocolate-covered strawberry, you can’t help but feel like the two were made for each other.

Ingredients
6 oz semisweet chocolate chips
1 pound strawberries, washed and dried with stems attached
½ cup Smitty Sweets almond toffee, chopped and crushed
½ cup Smitty Sweets pecan toffee, chopped and crushed
Parchment paper
Microwave safe bowl

Directions
Pour the chocolate chips into the bowl and microwave in 15-second increments — stirring in between each round — until melted.
Dip each strawberry into the chocolate and turn until most of the red is covered.
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet
Sprinkle with Smitty Sweets Toffee bits, making sure to get pieces on all sides
Let the chocolate cool and harden for about 20 minutes
Enjoy with your favorite person!
