“Beautiful, Yes!”

Nearly 40 years of skincare wisdom, Italian inspiration and personalized care in the heart of Morristown.

If you’re looking for a New Jersey-based skin care spa that values a personalized approach, look no further than Bellezza Si.

The Morristown-based, full-service European skin care spa, opened by Caterina Castaldo nearly 38 years ago, is built on her strong beliefs about what good skin care should look like. Today, its offerings extend beyond traditional skin care to include a variety of wellness services designed to support clients holistically.

“Skin care has to be curated,” Castaldo says. “It has to be built and maintained.”

From the beginning, Castaldo has treated her clients like family—and in many cases, they have become just that. Early on, she showed a natural talent for skin care and beauty. With encouragement from those around her, that interest grew into a thriving business.

“It was a passion of mine,” Castaldo says. “I always gravitated toward well-being and helping someone, educating my clients to better skin care and wellness.”

In fact, the business came about organically.

“It was never my dream to build a business,” she says. “It just happened because I loved doing what I do.”

A core inspiration for her work is her birthplace, Udine, Italy, where her passion first took root. She later earned her cosmetology license, which led her to open the business. Through her work, she realized there was room to bring high-quality products sourced from Italy to her clients, eventually leading her to develop her own line.

Castaldo later moved to Morristown and quickly fell in love with the town.

“You have the city, the airports, the shoreline—there are so many great things about Morristown,” she says. “It had that charm, that old American charm. There’s a lot of history here.”

It became the perfect home for her business, and over time, the spa became a fixture in the local community.

Bellezza Si, which means “Beautiful Yes!” in Italian, was founded with the goal of educating clients and helping them build better skin care habits. When the spa opened nearly four decades ago, Castaldo says esthetics was far less developed in the United States.

“At that time, they really didn’t have very much in this country for esthetics like how it is now with all these spas and med spas,” she says.

That environment created an opportunity for Bellezza Si to focus on expertise and education. It also allowed Castaldo to bring her European skin care philosophy to a market where it was still relatively rare.

“European skin care was very scarce to find, and most of the people practicing it here were Europeans,” she says.

That emphasis on proper technique and knowledge continues to shape the spa today and helps set it apart.

After nearly four decades in business, Bellezza Si has built a loyal client base rooted in trust. Treatments are recommended based on each client’s skin and lifestyle rather than trends. Estheticians determine the best approach to help clients reach their skin care goals, creating a thoughtful, individualized experience.

“We’re looking for a long-term relationship with our clients,” Castaldo says.

She views skin care as an ongoing process rather than a one-time appointment, allowing trust to build between client and practitioner over time.

“Skin care is very personal,” she says. “It’s very intimate.”

That commitment to personalized care extends beyond facials and skin treatments. Bellezza Si also offers wellness services, including therapeutic massage by practitioners such as Anneliese Sepaniak, LMT. Sepaniak brings more than three decades of experience and training in deep tissue technique, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, craniosacral therapy and manual lymphatic drainage. That range allows her to tailor each session to the client’s needs, reflecting the spa’s broader philosophy of customized care.

Much of the beauty industry has shifted toward quick fixes and highly commercialized treatments. Procedures are often promoted by influencers on Instagram and TikTok or showcased by celebrities on red carpets.

“People read something on social media and run to find that service, whether they need it or not,” Castaldo says.

Those treatments often prioritize speed over long-term skin health.

“You really need someone that is seasoned, that understands skin care and what it’s all about,” she says.

Trends may come and go, but expertise-backed skin care never goes out of style. Businesses like Bellezza Si, which champion that philosophy, are becoming increasingly rare. That is what makes Castaldo’s perspective so refreshing. She remains relevant by staying focused on experience, trust and thoughtful skin care, even as the industry continues to evolve.

“I have clients here that have been with me for 38 years,” she says. “Now I know their families, their kids and even their grandchildren.”

Bellezza Si continues to grow while staying grounded in the values that built it—care, consistency and connection.
