Launched in 1998 by Bob and his co-founders, Jean Page and Randy Smith, Cindy joined as a partner in 2021, bringing her creative, production, and business management expertise. The visionary couple, longtime Fairfield residents, has worked with industry leaders, top brands, prominent corporations, and emerging small businesses and local nonprofits. This globally recognized, award-winning firm provides a full spectrum of creative services from brand identity and digital media to advertising, packaging, signage and large-scale exhibits, as well as marketing collateral and annual reports that make a lasting impact. SVP Partners stands out from competitors by understanding their clients' needs and delivering innovative, creative solutions that are authentic and stay true to each organization's unique vision, identity and core values.
Giving back and supporting those who selflessly serve our country are part of the core values that drives Bob and Cindy. Sticks for Soldiers, a local nonprofit, raises funds and awareness for severely wounded post-9/11 veterans, many of whom have suffered catastrophic injuries. Since 2006, the organization has engaged the Connecticut high school lacrosse community to highlight the sacrifices of our military service members, becoming an important part of the Ludlowe Boys Lacrosse program. The couple's commitment to the organization has been steadfast—joining the mission when their sons played on the Ludlowe team and later both becoming board members. When needed, Bob stepped in as Board President, a further testament to his dedication and leadership. He approaches this role and the support of our veterans as more than a cause, seeing it as a responsibility we each share.
Every year, the organization holds its annual Thanksgiving Lacrosse Classic, hosted by the Ludlowe High School boys' and girls' lacrosse teams, to provide financial support, amplify the mission and pay tribute to the service men and women who have sacrificed, in an effort to help ease the burdens of living with life-changing injuries. Following the tournament, Sticks for Soldiers holds its traditional Ceremony. This year's honoree, U.S. Navy SCPO (Ret.) Kenton Stacy. Kenton, a loving husband to Lindsey and devoted father to Logan, Mason, Annabelle and Sadie, is a strong, hardworking, dedicated and highly skilled EOD operator. On November 9, 2017, Kenton was in Raqqah, training local soldiers, when a devastating explosion changed the course of the Stacys' lives forever. Through the support of family, friends and Special Forces team members, along with the incomparable strength of Lindsey, Kenton continues his recovery as they navigate the challenges they face together. While Kenton is unable to travel due to his injuries, Lindsey and three of their four children will be joining to take part in this year's Ceremony.
Sticks for Soldiers' impact is undeniable. In 18 years, over $1,250,000 has been donated locally to wounded service members and their families. Community involvement is the key to the continued success of Sticks for Soldiers. This year, give thanks by sitting on the bleachers this Thanksgiving Saturday as Kenton is honored, share the Stacy family's story as well as all the other incredible veterans' stories that have been honored and spotlighted by the organization and donate to this great cause.
