We hope everyone has had an amazing fall so far—filled with pumpkins, corn mazes, and maybe even a haunted house or two (for the brave ones among us!). Now that there's a crisp chill in the air, it's officially time to start leaning into all the holiday fun. Cue the Christmas music on the radio! This season is the perfect time to get out and enjoy some fun with family and friends. And since we’re no longer melting in the heat, we thought we’d share a few great spots to check out.
Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway
If you’re looking to get in the Christmas spirit, the Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway is the perfect place to start! This two-mile-long track is lit up with holiday lights that you won’t want to miss.
DFW Adventure Park
To blow off steam and have a blast this fall, we recommend DFW Adventure Park! DFW Adventure Park has several different activities for you to get involved in, all in one place. You can play paintball, airsoft, shotgun sports, or even participate in team-building challenges. The adventure park also hosts special events throughout the year, such as paintball scenarios, tournaments, and a zombie hunt!
North Tarrant Fall Fest
Come out to the Tarrant County Fall Fest to enjoy the great outdoors at North Park in Haltom City. The fall fest offers a variety of family-friendly fun, including a petting zoo, face painting, balloon artists, and a kids zone equipped with an inflatable. Of course, we haven’t forgotten the parents; there will also be fun geared towards the adults, such as live performances (kid-friendly, of course), as well as festive food trucks and booths for you to browse. For the foodies, there will be a diverse range of food to choose from, and for all our creatives, there will be plenty of arts & craft vendors for you to chat with.
Christmas Craft Show
If you’re looking to go all-in on Christmas, the Christmas Craft Show in Hurst, Texas, is calling your name! This 4th annual craft show takes place on November 8th and will leave you with that warm, fuzzy feeling you get during the holiday season. At the Christmas Craft Show, there will be a range of local artists who get to show off their handmade and vintage goods. Not only will you find unique pieces to add to your holiday decor, you’ll also get a chance to meet and support local artists in your community. After all the shopping and mingling, you might start getting hungry, but fear not, there will be plenty of delicious baked goods for you to indulge in. If you think you can make it, consider bringing some canned goods to donate and spread the holiday spirit even further!
