Come one, come all to the best 10 days of the year in Tennessee. The Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair is returning to the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon with its trademark family-friendly fun August 13 through 22. This year, the theme is “Tennessee Voices and Volunteers Celebrating America 250.” The 2026 Fair theme will honor the voices, traditions and people who have shaped the state and nation, along with those who have made the Fair possible throughout its history.

In addition to the Fair’s celebration of traditions, patriotism and the rich history of volunteerism that has shaped America and Tennessee, its agricultural commodity will be the Year of Forestry. This focus will highlight the crucial role of forestry in the state through exhibits, educational displays and interactive experiences.

“Our 2026 theme and agriculture focus truly reflect who we are as a fair,” said Randall Clemons, president of the Fair. “We’re excited to honor America’s 250th anniversary while recognizing the voices and volunteers who have built our community and to highlight forestry’s critical role in Tennessee agriculture, conservation, and sustainability.”

With 10 days packed with entertainment, there is something for everyone on the midway. Thrill-seekers and families will find plenty of rides tailored for kids and the kids at heart. Little ones can enjoy whimsical classics like the spinning Mini Tea Cup and the Mini Carousel, while adrenaline junkies can brave the high-speed twists and turns of the spectacular Galaxy Coaster. For a more relaxed pace, anyone can soak in the neon sights of the fairgrounds from the top of the classic Ferris wheel.

Live entertainment is part of what makes the Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair an unforgettable annual tradition. Music fills the air every night, and this year features an incredible, star-studded lineup. Standout artists Linda Davis, Lang Scott and RaeLynn will take to the Entertainment Stage this year, promising performances that country music fans will not want to miss.

A lineup of competitive livestock shows will keep animal lovers and local families entertained throughout the week. From prized cattle and dairy goats to poultry pageants and equine events, the barns will showcase the absolute best of Tennessee’s agricultural community.

And that is not all the Fair has to offer. There is so much more waiting beyond the gates.
