Turning Compassion into Action

Gina Pickett

In every thriving corporation and community, there are unsung heroes whose generosity quietly shapes lives. Spearheading fundraising efforts takes vision, strategy and tireless dedication—qualities that define Alpharetta's Gina Pickett, Internal Event Planner at Marsh MMA. Gina continues to mobilize resources, energizing her community and turning passion into impact; transforming ideas into action through collaboration and a compelling call to give.

A valued member of MMA for 13 years, Gina has led the MMA Charity Classic for the past six, benefiting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Having supported the event for years before taking the lead, she has found deep fulfillment uniting colleagues, corporate partners and the broader community for a vital cause. “It touches me profoundly to witness the impact brain tumors have on children and their families,” says Gina. “I’m committed to doing all we can to bring hope and support to families through their unique brain tumor journey.”

Gina’s desire to do good extends far beyond the workplace. Since losing her husband to ALS in 2007, she has been a passionate advocate for ALS awareness—leading Walk to Defeat ALS teams annually and raising over $120,000. For 21 years, she’s supported the Atlanta Hockey Foundation, helping fund scholarships and aid for players. She also serves year-round with Operation Christmas Child, organizing large community packing parties that share Christ’s love through shoebox gifts to children worldwide.

Through every effort, Gina remains driven by faith, family and the belief that one person can truly make a difference.
