In a world where girls are told anything, Girls United Ministries (GUM) is here to shine the light of Christ. Established in the summer of 2024, a mission was born: to see the next generation of girls grow in their relationship with Jesus, live in unity with His heart and with others, and make disciples.

The creator and founder, Hannah Irby, believes that every girl who loves Jesus should know Him and make Him known. This is possible by throwing away everything that hinders us, whether it be gossip, doubt, fear, assumptions, hurt, etc., and stepping into what Christ has for us—living in unity with Him and with others.

Grow. Unity. Make disciples. It seems simple, but we actually can’t have this without knowing Christ. There is no unity without Christ. We can’t be united or live in unity without Him.

Why unity? There is so much in our world that not only divides those who love Jesus, but also instills fear in making His name known. At Girls United Ministries, we believe that the unity of the body of Christ is a beautiful thing. Where there is unity, God commands blessing. Biblical unity has Christ as the head, is centered in Him, and calls out and convicts worldly things for the building up of the church. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, we can be in unity on earth as it is in heaven.

Mission: “We exist to equip and encourage the next generation of girls to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Through this, we emphasize unity with His heart and others while being on mission to make disciples.”

Vision: “We strive to cultivate an authentic, Christ-centered community through unity.”

Why: “To equip and encourage biblical unity in the next generation of girls while making Jesus known.”

So, girl, are you ready to step into unity and all that the Lord has for you for such a time as this? Get connected below—we can’t wait to see you online. You were created for such a time as this.
