Dr. Elizabeth Muennich, president and CEO of Dermatology and Skin Care in West Chester, is the new president of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA).
Muennich joins the OSMA in addressing issues that impact healthcare at the state and federal levels.
“Some of the big issues we are tackling are trying to relieve the administrative burden of prior authorization for physicians and patients and scope of practice issues,” she says.
Muennich is invested in empowering physicians and medical students across Ohio.
“We have a very active foundation that tries to help ease medical students’ financial burdens, and encourage people to apply and attend medical school,” she adds.
