Heroes, Hummers & Hops:

Roswell brings together community, music, flavors to raise funds honoring and supporting brave first responders.

On September 14, 2025, the Roswell community came together for a night filled with music, food, and heartfelt gratitude. The 2nd Annual Heroes, Hummers & Hops event celebrated the city’s first responders while raising critical funds to support their ongoing work and wellbeing.

A Night to Remember

The stage came alive with performances by The 31’s and Run Katie Run, as guests danced and mingled under the late-summer sky. Food lovers were treated to open-fire grilled creations from some of Roswell’s most beloved restaurants, including Bask Steakhouse, Vin25, Gracious Plenty, 1920, and From the Earth.

Adding energy and humor to the evening, Southside Steve Rickman from FOX-FM radio kept the crowd engaged as the event’s charismatic Master of Ceremonies.

Supporting Those Who Serve

Hosted by the Roswell First Responders Foundation (RFRF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the evening was about more than food and fun. The foundation’s mission is to sustain programs that:

  • Provide financial assistance for first responders injured, killed in the line of duty, or facing family hardship.

  • Recognize local firefighter and police officer heroes for bravery, innovation, and commitment.

  • Purchase supplementary equipment and training materials to keep Roswell’s first responders at the peak of preparedness.

A Community’s Generosity

Through a mix of donations, live auction excitement, and generous sponsorships, the event raised an impressive $73,000. Local partners such as Carl Black, Dr. Theolyn Price, Righteous Guitars, Synovus, Betty & Tom Price, Genoa Construction, HITT Contractors, and Austin Dental and many other Patriot sponsors stepped up to make the evening a success.

More Than an Event

Heroes, Hummers & Hops wasn’t just a fundraiser—it was a powerful reminder of the bond between Roswell’s citizens and the men and women who keep them safe. With food, music, and community spirit at the forefront, the evening perfectly blended celebration with purpose.
