DeAndra Bolden
Metropolitan Ministries
DeAndra Bolden, Associate Director of Development and Community Engagement, is passionate about connecting people to a mission that restores hope for families across Tampa Bay.
Raised in a family where generosity and support were a way of life, DeAndra knew she wanted to help others. “Even though we didn’t have a lot, there was an abundance of love and a willingness to help,” said Bolden. Today, she connects individuals and businesses to a mission that supports families experiencing homelessness.
One moment that stayed with her happened while volunteering at Metropolitan Ministries’ Holiday Tent. A family who lost their home in a hurricane shared how meaningful it was to receive a Thanksgiving meal. “Knowing families facing hardship could gather and celebrate reminded me why this work matters,” she explained.
For DeAndra, community means showing up so people feel seen, supported, and valued.
Robin Taylor & Laura Bleacher
Honeybee Home
Robin Taylor and Laura Bleacher, the mother-daughter duo behind Honeybee Home, are creating more than beautiful spaces. They’re building connections across South Tampa.
Their boutique was born from a shared passion for design and to create something meaningful together as women and members of the community. “We want to help people create spaces that feel like home,” they shared. “Spaces that reflect their personalities, lifestyles, and stories.”
Honeybee Home has become a place where creativity and community meet for connection, creativity, and shared inspiration.
For Robin and Laura, community means showing up. From supporting local schools to fundraising, hosting private events to sponsoring luncheons, they believe small gestures can make a difference. “Community means knowing people by name and celebrating their milestones,” they said.
Their hope is to inspire women to pursue their passions and create something meaningful.
Paola Leon-Garcia
PG Studio Inc. & PG Lux
Paola Leon-Garcia, founder of PG Studio Inc. and PG Lux, approaches architecture through what she calls “Happitecture”—the belief that designed spaces can bring joy and elevate how people live.
With training in architecture and art, Paola recognized her perspective to see possibilities others might overlook. “Luxury is not about status,” explained Leon-Garcia. “It’s about customization and creating spaces that reflect who our clients are and who they want to become.”
Through PG Studio, Paola designs environments that foster connection, productivity, and self-expression. She believes a space should do more than look beautiful—it should support life happening inside it.
For Paola, community begins with connection and service. “When you take time to understand people and serve them,” she said, “community becomes a powerful force for growth.”
Her work reflects a belief that design helps people live fully.
Keleisha Carter
KC Capital Group / Legacy Bloom Capital
Keleisha Carter, founder of KC Capital Group and Legacy Bloom Capital, is passionate about expanding access to wealth-building opportunities and helping others see what is possible.
A first-generation wealth builder and immigrant from Jamaica, Keleisha understands the determination it takes to start from nothing and build something lasting. “I didn’t grow up around investment funds or passive income,” shared Carter. “What I saw was hard work. Ownership is what builds true generational wealth.”
That belief continues to guide her work today. Through her platform, Keleisha connects people with opportunities to grow, invest, and create lasting impact while supporting projects that strengthen communities and help families build financial security.
For Keleisha, community is built through relationships and shared opportunity. “Community isn’t transactional,” she explained, “it’s about building trust, sharing access, and leaving doors open for the next person.”
Christina McCue Hoek
The Spiral Staircase
Christina McCue Hoek, founder of The Spiral Staircase, created a space where women can feel seen, supported, and connected.
Inspired by her experiences navigating seasons of life—from young professional to motherhood and entrepreneurship, Christina recognized how difficult it can be to find friendships as life evolves. “Those friendships shaped me and carried me through much,” she explained. “I wanted to create a place where connection felt natural and intentional.”
Through curated gatherings and experiences, The Spiral Staircase has become a community where women build relationships, collaborate, and celebrate one another’s growth.
For Christina, community is found in everyday moments. “It’s women showing up for one another, celebrating the wins, and holding space for the hard days,” said Hoek. “When women gather with intention, something powerful happens.”
Her hope is that every woman who walks through doors feels she belongs.
