As the year comes to an end, I find myself filled with the same joy and anticipation that has always made December my favorite month. Christmas has a special kind of magic, one that glows softly through the twinkle of lights, the scent of fresh pine, and the laughter that fills a home when everyone gathers together. For me, Christmas isn’t just a holiday, it's a feeling. It’s about love, togetherness, and the small, beautiful traditions that bring us closer year after year. I’ve always adored transforming our home into a winter wonderland. Every room sparkles with lights, garlands, and memories. My four daughters help me decorate every corner of the house and their excitement reminds me of what this season is truly about. And I can’t forget my husband, who patiently untangles endless strings of lights, and carries in all the heavy stuff. When the decorating is done, you’ll usually find us in the kitchen, music playing, flour on our hands, and trays of cookies baking in the oven. From chocolate chip and sugar cookies to gingerbread and peanut butter blossoms, baking is one of our favorite ways to spend time together. The smell of fresh cookies and the sound of our favorite Hallmark movies in the background fill our home and my heart. Nothing is more precious to me than time well spent with family and it is the greatest gift I get each year. Christmas, to me, isn’t about the gifts but about gratitude, for love, for family, and for the moments that become memories. As we close out another year, I hope this season brings you peace, joy, and the reminder that the simplest things often mean the most. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas, and may your home be filled with warmth and wonder.
