Montana’s Paws Up Ranch has hosted Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Costner, Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and the Rolling Stones, but its appeal goes far beyond a guest list. Couples arrive for a one-of-a-kind reset that swaps busy schedules for relaxed time together. Romance here comes with space, privacy, and plenty of outdoor adventure.

Set on a 37,000-acre working cattle ranch about 35 miles from Missoula, Paws Up feels far away, but it is very accessible. Stays at the two Michelin Keys resort can include sharing a fly fishing lesson, time at the spa, or enjoying a meal by an award-winning chef. Nights are perfect for quiet conversations under the stars.

For couples, one of the newest attractions is Green O. This adults-only enclave, nestled in a wooded corner of the property, is designed for privacy and tranquility. Green O guests also have access to The Social Haus, where menus, showcasing the bounty of Montana farmers, ranchers, and fishermen, change daily. With floor-to-ceiling windows, it is an excellent choice for late dinners and slow mornings.

Paws Up offers more ways to enjoy the outdoors than any resort in North America. Couples can ride horses at the state’s largest private equestrian center, which includes a 29,000 square foot arena. Join a cattle drive, float the Blackfoot River, try archery, hike, canoe, or book a hot air balloon ride. The winter season offers MoonBikes and dog sledding with Jessie Royer, a veteran of the Iditarod.

Accommodations range from Meadow Homes to Wilderness Estates, plus seasonal glamping sites along the river. Glamping at Paws Up is much more than a tent. The resort is the only property in North America with three-bedroom tents that are well-equipped, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished.

No resort is complete without a dedicated gift shop, and the Wilderness Outpost at Paws Up is not only massive but also fully stocked with elevated gear, Western apparel, jewelry, and even home decor. pawsup.com
