For more than a century, Austin & Austin Real Estate has stood as a trusted name in Northern Colorado real estate. Founded in 1903 by brothers E.R. and Fred Austin, the company began by serving the region’s agricultural roots through farm and land auctions—helping shape the communities that thrive today. That legacy of integrity, adaptability, and client-first service continues under fourth-generation leadership.

Austin & Austin’s strength lies not only in its history, but in its people. With decades of combined experience, the team works collaboratively, drawing on shared knowledge and diverse expertise to deliver thoughtful, well-rounded guidance. Clients benefit from more than a single perspective—they gain the insight of a unified team committed to protecting their best interests.

As the real estate landscape evolves, Austin & Austin remains grounded in the values that built its reputation: honest counsel, personalized service, and a deep respect for Northern Colorado and the people who call it home.

These agent spotlights showcase the individuals carrying forward Austin & Austin’s century-long tradition of trusted real estate service.

Natalie Snead

Growing up around real estate, Natalie began her career in the front office at Austin & Austin before stepping into an agent role—turning a family legacy into a path uniquely her own. She sees real estate as more than a career; it’s a way to serve people during some of life’s biggest moments. Natalie genuinely loves building real relationships along the way, often making lifelong friends with the people she serves, and she values the lessons each transaction brings. She has a special place in her heart for first-time homebuyers, especially those who never believed homeownership was possible, helping them gain confidence and see that it truly is within reach.

Aside from being a family business she’s grown up with, Austin & Austin is home to a team that has become family in every sense. The agents and staff support one another wholeheartedly, and Natalie knows she can always count on them—just as they can count on her—something truly rare and hard to replace.

Brigitte Gentry

With more than two decades at Austin & Austin, Brigitte's real estate story began early—working alongside appraisers as a teenager and quickly falling in love with homes and the rhythm of the business. Today, she brings a calm, intentionally paced approach, limiting her client load so every transaction receives full attention. With an eye for design, she often helps clients think through staging, remodeling, and layout along the way. A successful closing, for her, feels smooth and unhurried, often followed by referrals built on long-standing trust.

Dale Souther

Dale’s path into real estate grew out of an entrepreneurial mindset, starting with infill development projects and a desire to create value through land and community. The energy of the people around him—and a shared work ethic—sparked a lasting passion for the industry. Grounded in sincerity and honesty, Dale brings a straightforward approach to every transaction. With deep roots in agriculture, he connects naturally with clients from similar backgrounds, defining success as clients who feel good about their outcome and how they were represented along the way.

“Austin & Austin’s long-standing reputation in the advertising community sets the standard. Being part of that legacy motivates me to uphold the same level of integrity, honesty, and commitment with every client I serve.” -Dale

Ted Carlson

Ted’s real estate career began out of necessity, evolving from a background in farming and livestock into a profession that’s spanned more than four decades. Mentored early on by Ernie Austin, he built his career on steady guidance, hard work, and long-term relationships. While technology has changed the industry, Ted continues to value face-to-face connection, believing nothing replaces personal contact. With deep expertise in agricultural properties—farms, ranches, and water rights—he measures success simply: satisfied clients and the privilege of continuing a multi-generational legacy.

"“Austin & Austin has been part of my family’s life for generations, and I’m proud to help carry that legacy forward.” -Ted

Sue Maack

Sue’s love for real estate began with a simple appreciation for homes and grew into a career rooted in long-standing relationships. For more than 27 years, she has helped clients navigate the Eaton and Greeley markets she proudly calls home, building trust that often extends far beyond a single transaction. Sue’s approach centers on truly understanding her clients’ needs, allowing her to match people with places that feel right. A successful closing, for her, is one where both buyer and seller walk away excited and ready for what’s next. Sue cherishes the Austin and Austin team because many of them have worked together for decades and always eager to help each other out.

Ethan Cozzens

Ethan’s entry into real estate grew naturally from a career in construction, where hands-on building sparked a deeper interest in the transactional side of the industry. With more than 25 years in construction and a background in construction management, he brings a trained eye to everything from custom homes to agricultural assets. Known for his calm, non-pushy approach, Ethan focuses on reducing stress during major decisions, especially for first-time buyers. To him, success means clients who feel confident in their purchase from start to finish.

"I cannot speak highly enough on the team at Austin & Austin Real Estate. They are a
down to earth, professional team and is nothing but supportive and top notch. I have never felt
more welcome and feel a part of the family." -Ethan

John Moody

John’s connection to real estate began early through family ties to the industry, growing into a career centered on helping people navigate major decisions. With a laid-back, steady approach, he focuses on listening first and making sure clients feel informed and comfortable throughout the process. John frequently works with agricultural properties and first-time buyers, helping them move forward with clarity and confidence. A successful transaction, in his eyes, ends with happy clients at the closing table.

Mike Higgins

Mike was drawn to real estate by the opportunity to help people through one of life’s most meaningful transitions. Shaped by growing up around Higgins Hardware and years in professional basketball, he brings discipline, preparation, and a family-first mindset to every transaction. Fluent in Spanish and experienced as an investment property owner, Mike offers both personal and financial perspective. Rather than focusing on a single niche, he works with clients navigating change, measuring success by confident decisions and relationships that last.

Wayne Howard

Wayne’s path into real estate evolved through a career shift into agricultural appraisal, farm and ranch management, and complex land negotiations—work that proved both challenging and rewarding. Guided by a clear personal mission centered on service, excellence, and integrity, he brings a principled, steady approach to every transaction. Wayne is especially connected to agricultural and rural markets, including water and mineral rights, livestock, and agri-business. Success, for him, is achieved when both buyer and seller reach their intended goals.

Chuck Bowles

With a background in sales and a lifelong connection to Northern Colorado, Chuck brings a people-first approach to every real estate transaction. His passion for real estate grew from a desire to help clients turn their dreams into reality—especially when purchasing their first home. Known for his low-pressure style, Chuck focuses on answering questions thoroughly, making clients feel comfortable, and being available whenever they need guidance. He specializes in residential real estate throughout Greeley, working with everyone from first-time buyers to multi-generation homeowners. As part of the family-oriented team at Austin & Austin Real Estate, Chuck values collaboration and shared support, always striving for transactions where every party walks away happy and confident.

Tamra Heindselman

Tamra began her journey into real estate by assisting other agents with marketing, staging, and interior design on new construction, where she discovered how much she loved bringing spaces to life and helping clients envision their future homes. Her path into real estate truly began with a passion for helping people, which led her to transition into becoming a real estate agent so she could be more directly involved with clients and guide them through one of the biggest transactions of their lives. She understands the process can be time-consuming and challenging, but she loves to make it a fun, exciting adventure for every client she works with. She approaches every relationship with care and intention, listening closely to her clients’ needs and goals, and giving 100% of her time, loyalty, and dedication. She believes every client deserves exceptional service, and she won’t stop working until each one is 100% happy.
