“The Eden Prairie Lions welcomed almost 18,000 people to Schooner Days last year,” said Terry Eggan, Lion. “We netted around $53,000, all proceeds from which went to our allied nonprofit organizations. Past years’ recipients have included Lions KidSight, which helps children avoid serious health issues worldwide, as well as the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation, Lions Gift of Sight program, Can Do Canines, Leader Dogs for the Blind, and many other nonprofits doing great work for the visually impaired.
“The addition of our vendor marketplace has brought in increasing numbers of fairgoers in recent years. So too have our expanded marketing efforts, which include expertly written magazine articles. That’s why we expect 2026 to be our biggest Schooner Days ever – truly a can’t-miss occasion!”
