Round Lake Park will burst at the seams with EVERYTHING YOU LOVE on the last three days of May. Carnival rides that evoke hoots and hollers. Two full midways: one just for children, and another for adults that will test all the adroitness you have honed by reading magazines over the years. Cuisine that will make you say Yes! Now this is cuisine I can get behind. It’s the pure Midwest carnival experience. And it’s for a great cause!

“The Eden Prairie Lions welcomed almost 18,000 people to Schooner Days last year,” said Terry Eggan, Lion. “We netted around $53,000, all proceeds from which went to our allied nonprofit organizations. Past years’ recipients have included Lions KidSight, which helps children avoid serious health issues worldwide, as well as the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation, Lions Gift of Sight program, Can Do Canines, Leader Dogs for the Blind, and many other nonprofits doing great work for the visually impaired.

“The addition of our vendor marketplace has brought in increasing numbers of fairgoers in recent years. So too have our expanded marketing efforts, which include expertly written magazine articles. That’s why we expect 2026 to be our biggest Schooner Days ever – truly a can’t-miss occasion!”

Butcher and Bartender, which serves burgers and sausages that defy logic and reason. Eggroll Queen, which fries crispity things fit for kings. Smokestack Express, whose meatsies are paragons of delectability. Waffle Bar, whose menu is too thrilling to be synopsized in any way, shape or form. Granite Rock Stone Fired Pizza, serving pie that will make you say Oh my. Pierogi2Gogi, serving POLISH GOLD. They’ll be all yours to enjoy!

Beer. Bingo. Beautiful!

Craft beers by Fat Pants. Domestic beers by Grain Belt. Coors Light by … Coors. If your favorite beer isn’t being served at the Schooner Days beer garden, then that’s nothing a beer won’t fix. There will also be White Claws, nonalcoholic beverages, and both major colors of wines.

And what’s the perfect accompaniment to the perfect beverage? Bingo. Fate made material by tumbling orbs, seized from chaos in order to determine the winners of fabulous prizes. Do you like fabulous prizes? Then take your rightful place at Schooner Days’ Bingo Under the Big Top and daub, neighbor, daub!

Get Your Kid’s Eyes Checked

The perfect way for children to cap off a day at the carnival? Finding out they might need glasses! Be sure to bring your own to Schooner Days’ vision screening booth: a free demonstration of Lions KidSight’s state-of-the-art technology, which takes only two seconds to determine whether a child should see an eye doctor.
