1. Prosecco
After traveling through Sicily and Italy, I fell in love with Prosecco. There’s something about the bubbles and sunshine that makes every moment feel celebratory.
2. Floral
As a photoshoot and home stylist, I’m drawn to beautiful blooms. Favorites include white and blush Ranunculus, potted white Amaryllis at the holidays, blue thistle, and of course, Phalaenopsis orchids. Flowers bring life and texture to any space.
3. Live Music
I was a songwriter and musician back in the day, playing the Austin scene, Kerrville, and folk clubs. Some favorites include Emmylou Harris, Terry Allen, Nanci Griffith, and Willie Nelson. Nothing feeds the soul like live music.
4. Blue
From blue jeans to my new La Cornue oven, blue is my go-to color. It’s calming, classic, and a color I love living around.
5. The Tetons
Jackson Hole, Wyoming is a favorite getaway. Summer or winter, we love cycling, skiing, and fly fishing. The Tetons are breathtaking and a reminder to slow down and enjoy life’s adventures.
