In a wellness landscape long defined by one-size-fits-all approaches, a new wave of women-owned fitness spaces is rewriting the narrative. Thoughtfully designed, expertly coached and deeply community-driven, these studios go beyond the workout, creating environments where strength, confidence and connection are built in equal measure.
LiVE iT FWD Coaching is that shift.
At LiVE iT FWD Coaching (LiF), fitness is not about chasing an aesthetic. It’s about building a life that moves forward with purpose, physically, mentally and emotionally. Rooted in a philosophy that blends physical training with mindset and accountability, this women-centered space offers a refreshing alternative to traditional gym culture.
LiF was designed by Meghan Hayes (Coach MegS) for women who are done starting over. Instead of quick fixes or one-size-fits-all programs, the focus is structure, consistency and sustainable progress. Members are guided through intentional programming that meets them where they are, whether returning to fitness, balancing careers and motherhood or simply seeking a stronger, more energized version of themselves.
What sets LiF apart is its layered approach. Coaching goes beyond the workout floor, integrating strength training with nutrition awareness, support around food noise and wellness practices that include habit-building, goal-setting and community-driven accountability. The result is a space where women feel supported not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well, so progress actually sticks.
Training is delivered in a variety of ways, from 100% online programming to hybrid coaching (in person and online), as well as one-on-one and small group training. Every offering is intentionally built by Coach MegS to meet the unique needs of each client. For women ready to move forward with intention, LiVE iT FWD Coaching delivers exactly what its name promises.
Victress Elkhorn
At Victress Elkhorn, group strength training is reimagined through a distinctly female lens, one that prioritizes education, empowerment and community alongside results.
Founded on the belief that women deserve programming tailored to their bodies, Victress offers an intentional approach to fitness that evolves alongside each stage of life. From prenatal and postpartum recovery to perimenopause and beyond, every workout is designed with purpose, helping women build strength safely and sustainably.
Owner Becca Albrecht has cultivated more than a gym. She has created a space where women feel seen, supported and capable from the moment they walk in. Classes combine strength training, conditioning and functional movement, all guided by expert coaching and scalable for every fitness level.
But what truly sets Victress apart is its thoughtful attention to the often-overlooked aspects of women’s health. Programming incorporates core and breath work to support pelvic floor health, while education around hormonal cycles allows members to train in a way that aligns with their bodies, not against them.
The environment is intentionally different. There are no mirrors, no pressure to perform for appearance and no expectation to fit a mold. Instead, the focus is inward, on how strength feels, confidence builds and consistency creates lasting change.
Beyond the workouts, Victress fosters a sense of community. Small group training, personalized coaching and on-site childcare remove barriers, making it easier for women to prioritize their health without sacrificing responsibilities.
The result is a space that feels empowering and approachable, where women can come as they are and leave stronger in every sense of the word.
At Victress, fitness is not just a routine. It’s a lifelong investment in strength, resilience and self-worth.
