When the Make-A-Wish Foundation asked our team to transform a young gamer’s bedroom, the goal was to create an immersive, functional space tailored to his personality, all within three days before the final reveal.
The design centered on his love of gaming, blending adventure, comfort, and practicality. Day one, we reworked the layout and demoed the existing closet to create a hidden gaming room behind a secret door, turning an underused area into a dedicated gaming zone. We added a loft above the new closet to maximize the footprint and create another hangout area. By the end of the first day, the major construction elements were complete, providing the foundation for the rest of the transformation.
On day two, finishes and custom details brought the vision to life. Painting, wallpaper, LED lighting, gaming decor, and a Minecraft-inspired mural added personality while keeping the design cohesive.
By day three, carpet, wallpaper, furniture, and decor were completed. In just 72 hours, the bedroom became a gaming retreat, creating a memorable experience for the child and his family.
