A Dripping Springs resident since 2011, entrepreneur James Montgomery has always been interested in health and wellness. With degrees in chemistry and biology, a passion for fitness, and a pharmacy background, he has translated that interest into a community-wide ecosystem of health services: Solutions Pharmacy, Dripping IV Solutions, and Rumble Boxing Dripping Springs.
“Wellness, overall, is about improving your body—building your health—and we offer different avenues to achieve that and feel your best,” Montgomery says. Each of his businesses serves its own purpose, yet they work together to support individuals on their health journey, offering accessible, personalized care, with a bit of fun, too.
Solutions Pharmacy
After many years in the pharmacy industry, Montgomery opened Solutions Pharmacy in 2013. It offers everything a traditional pharmacy does, along with a level of personal service that’s increasingly rare.
As a locally owned pharmacy, “We know you when you walk in,” Montgomery says. “We probably even know what Drip team your kid plays on.” And Solutions pharmacists go beyond filling prescription bottles. “Our pharmacists are like counselors,” he shares. “We want to hear about your problems and then we can give you solutions.”
Those solutions aren’t always medication. “We try to address health through nutrition and the whole body rather than just taking a pill,” he explains. “We can talk to you about sleep, what you’re eating, lifestyle changes—things you can control outside of drugs. We can help you see the bigger picture.”
To support this vision, Montgomery is developing an appointment-based pharmacy model, allowing customers to meet one-on-one with a pharmacist like Solutions’ Rob Crosby, R.Ph. With more than 35 years in pharmacy and certification as a wellness coach, Crosby blends pharmaceutical expertise with holistic guidance. Whether reviewing supplements, creating nutrition plans, or helping patients understand their medications, his approach is clear, compassionate, and practical.
As a compounding pharmacy, Solutions can also customize medications that are typically mass-produced, offering patient-specific strengths, flavors, and formulations. Rumble Boxing
With his background in health and a passion for fitness, Montgomery naturally expanded to high-energy workouts. In 2024, he opened Rumble Boxing, a dynamic boxing studio offering classes for kids, adults, beginners, and seasoned athletes.
Rumble sessions combine high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and boxing: “You get your strength training with the HIIT, and you get cardio from the boxing,” Montgomery explains. “It works muscles you don’t typically work in cardio; it’s a total-body workout.”
Rumble’s dimly lit studio comes alive with vibrant, party-like lighting, high-energy music, and enthusiastic instructors who keep the classes lively. “The environment is fun,” Montgomery says. “People love putting on boxing gloves and just hitting something. It’s an efficient workout, a good stress reliever; it’s ultimately just a great experience.”
