Opening IM=X® Pilates Peoria wasn’t just a business decision for owner and certified instructor Tiffany Stavrianos; it was a calling. She wanted a place where people could show up precisely as they are, move without judgment, and walk out feeling stronger in every part of their lives. Peoria felt like the perfect home for that vision. With its appreciation for health, family, and connection, the community aligned with everything she hoped to build. “I wanted a studio where people feel welcome, supported, and capable from day one,” she shares. “Strength should feel accessible, not intimidating.”

IM=X® Pilates, short for Integrated Movement Xercize, is rooted in Pilates but expanded with modern exercise science. Traditional Pilates emphasizes lengthening and alignment; IM=X® adds strength training, endurance conditioning, and functional movement for a more athletic, results-driven experience. Tiffany describes it as Pilates evolved, designed for everyday people who want strength, mobility, and energy that support real life. As she explains, “IM=X® blends everything your body needs, stability, strength, mobility, cardio, into one efficient workout.”

The Xercizer Reformer itself is larger and stronger than standard machines, allowing a broader range of body types and fitness levels to feel supported and safe. Developed decades after the original Pilates Method, IM=X® incorporates updated research, biomechanics, and real-world movement patterns. Clients often feel results quickly, noticing better posture, stronger core engagement, reduced pain, and increased day-to-day function. “The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is progress you can feel in your everyday life,” Tiffany says. For many, the method becomes the first workout that truly makes sense for their lifestyle.

This sustainable approach is especially appealing for people setting January goals. Rather than relying on pressure or unrealistic expectations, IM=X® focuses on building strength and confidence from the inside out. The studio offers a wide variety of formats, including Reformer, Tower, Mat, Barre, Yoga, and hybrid strength sessions, so clients stay engaged and never fall into monotony. That mix keeps workouts feeling fun, challenging, and fresh.

When asked who the ideal IM=X® client is, Tiffany’s answer is simple: anyone who wants to feel better in their body. They work with beginners, return-to-fitness clients, athletes craving cross-training, and individuals recovering from injury who need a powerful but low-impact option. IM=X® is known to improve core strength, mobility, posture, muscle tone, and functional endurance while offering safe modifications for pain or physical limitations.

Every new member begins with a FREE Intro Session, one of the studio’s most appreciated offerings. Tiffany personally guides small groups through the equipment, foundational exercises, and any individualized considerations. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, understand the method, and feel at ease before joining a group class. “No one should feel lost or intimidated,” she says. Most clients leave feeling surprised by how comfortable and supported they felt from the start.

The community that has blossomed inside the studio is something Tiffany never anticipated so early on. Founding members brought warmth, consistency, and genuine encouragement, creating a welcoming tone for every new client who walks through the door. Over time, that energy has only deepened. Members cheer each other on, share progress, recommend favorite classes, and often stay after sessions to connect. What began as a fitness studio has become a place where people feel rooted, a meaningful extension of their daily routine.

Clients are often surprised by how quickly everyday tasks become easier, lifting kids, standing longer at work, carrying groceries, or moving without stiffness. One member even joked that IM=X® helped her win an otherwise impossible game of Twister. These moments capture something essential about the method: its benefits show up in real life, not just in the studio. As Tiffany says, “People think they’re coming for a workout. What they don’t expect is to feel so empowered.”

The instructors at IM=X® Peoria are a considerable part of that experience. Each team member completes extensive IM=X® certification through Master Trainers, and many bring additional backgrounds in yoga, barre, strength training, and rehabilitation-based movement. This allows them to offer expert modifications and individualized attention while maintaining an upbeat, seamless class environment.

As the studio celebrates five incredible months, anticipation is building for their Grand Opening Weekend on January 10th. Tiffany sees this milestone as not just a celebration of the business, but of the community that has shaped it. It’s an opportunity to recognize the people who believed in the studio from day one and welcome the many new members who will join in the years ahead. Follow their social channels for updates, special offers, workshops, and connection-focused events throughout the weekend and beyond.
