Teresa Lupus: Boom Fitness
Teresa didn’t consider herself athletic growing up, but was always very active. After missing her entire senior year of high school because of an illness, she got into weight lifting to gain healthy weight. She taught aerobics in exchange for a gym membership in college, and once she found out how much muscle contributes to overall health, she worked towards becoming a personal trainer, a goal she achieved at just 25 years old. “When I say my Boom family, it’s literally a family. We support each other.”
Tanya Pusey: Riverton Counseling
"Owning my own business, my private practice, means I get to decide my therapeutic approach, modalities, specialties and my schedule. I was able to design a practice that fits my lifestyle and allows flexibility for my clients. I have been able to create a calm, safe atmosphere for my clients with their healing, processing and growth. Ultimately, the strongest predictor of successful therapy is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client. I love having a practice built on a foundation of trust, authenticity, and collaboration in every session. So grateful to be a therapist and a business owner!"
